The studies of lead on physiologic effects for Acanthopagrus latus / 鉛對黃鰭鯛生理反應研究

博士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 水產養殖學系 / 106 / The purpose of this study is to measure experimentally in attempts to know about the effects of Pb polluting in seawater for Acanthopagrus latus was investigated which included the sublethal effects (LC50), lead accumulation, metallothionein expression level and the change of biochemical parameters of the A. latus exposured under the conditions of various lead concentration and salinities 34‰.

A. latus juvenile (1.408 ± 0.478 g) following exposure to a series of lead concentrations at various salinities (0, 9, 17, 25 and 34‰). Exposed to 17‰ salinity were the most tolerant to lead. After 96 h, the 50% lethal concentration (LC50) values were 0.33,1.43,3.78,2.32 and 1.46 mg Pb2+/l following exposure to 0,9,17,25 and 34‰ salinities, respectively. The 6,12, 24,48 and 96 h LC50 for fish exposed to 17‰ salinity were 124.67,33.02,10.40,5.15 and 3.78 mg Pb2+/l, respectively.

A. latus fry (8.67 ± 1.75 g) were exposed to three lead concentrations (1、2 and 5 mg Pb2+/l) after 1,2,3,5 and 7 days in salinity 34‰ seawater, lead level contained in tissue which from high to low are intestine>gill>liver. Intestine was major accumulation tissue.

Tissue metallotionein under varied with the ambient Pb2+ concentrations 0,1,2 and 5 mg Pb2+/l, salinities 34‰, exposed time 0, 1,2,5 and 10 days. There were no significant differences (p>0.05) in intestine, but there were significant differences (p<0.05) in liver and gill.

Study of changing influences in biochemical parameter of A. latus under varied with the ambient Pb2+ concentrations 0,1,2 and 5 mg Pb2+/l, salinities 34‰, after exposed time 0, 1,2,5 and 10 days, cholesterol (CHOL) level 2nd d is highest and 10th d lowest. serum GOT, GPT, Glu, Lac level all were increased day by day (p<0.05).
