碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 河海工程學系 / 106 / As the rate of global warming intensifies, discussions about rising sea levels and increasing frequency of extreme weather events play an important role in the world. Taiwan is an island state surrounded by sea, in order to maintain the natural system, respond to climate change, prevent coastal disasters and environmental damage, and also promotes coastal integration management, and then "Coastal Management Law" in February 2015 was promulgated by the Ministry of Internal.
Therefore, this study takes the Water Resources Agency (2017) "Coastal Protection Integration Planning and Coastal Protection Plan Drafting Reference Manual" as a reference to design the Yancheng Coast Protection Zone. The landside protection zone is designed by analyzing four major issues: storm surge, coastal erosion, flood damages and land subsidence: the storm surge is analyzed by the typhoon surge and the 50-year typhoon wave run-up/uplift. The potential analysis on the coastal erosion mainly focuses on the monitoring of coastal data in the past five years, and the coastline changes and the estimation of the future impact range can be presented. The flood damages and land subsidence have little impact on the salt-salt coast, so it is not taken into account. The seaside protection zone is set by the closure depth (terminal water depth) of the sand drifting belt. The closure depth obtained by empirical formula and measured water depth topographic data, and the modified closure depth in accordance with local characteristics is derived. Then calculate the modified closure depth by substituting the empirical formula for 50 years of typhoon wave conditions, and multiply the modified coefficient can be obtained the closure depth of the Yan-Liao sea area.
The result of this paper is that the landside protection zone is bounded by the contour line +5m and because of the inconvenient management, the landside protection zone is pulled to the rear sidewalk. The seaside protection zone is drawn by the contour line -34m.
