In addition, according to the ISL report of January 2018, Taiwan has a total of 375 ships in bulk with a deadweight tonnage of 29,019 thousand dwt, which is the world’s fifth-largest supplier of tons of bulk carriers. This data shows that Taiwan’s bulk shipping occupies an important position in the world.
