The Impact of Environmental Change on Coastal Fisheries in Yongan Fishing Port,TaoYuang / 環境變遷對永安漁港沿岸漁業之影響評估

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 環境生物與漁業科學學系 / 106 / Environmental changes may affect marine ecosystems in many different ways, such as: changes in coastal environments and extreme weather events, often have an impact on fishing activities and livelihoods in coastal fishing villages. In this study, satellite remote sensing, the Central Weather Bureau tide station and the Chungli fishery statistics used to grasp the impact of the fishery environment and the visibility of the fishing harbor around Yongan fishing port in northwest of Taiwan, and through structured questionnaire, investigating information about the Humanities and Social Sciences of the fishermen of the Chungli fishery, analysis of coastal fishing village fishermen's social and economic attributes and the possible impact of environmental change, supplemented by analytical hierarchy process (AHP) questionnaire, to develop the impact index and vulnerability level of coastal fishing fishery in Yongan fishing port, provide fishermen under the impact of environmental changes, may take the adjustment method and the response strategy.
According to the hydrological environment data, the average sea surface temperature (SST) is highest (28.8°C) during the summer (June to August), and larger than that of the SST (20.1°C) during the winter (December to February). The yearly catch is about 258-506 metric tons. The caught species were about 30-40 species and dominanted in the species of Pennahia argentata,Ephippus orbis,Eleutheronema rhadinum,Mugil cephalus,Thamnaconus modestus etc.. During 2003-2015, the H’ ranged from 2.88 to 4.02 and J’ ranged from 0.59 to 0.78, indicating the biodiversity of fishery resources is relatively stable. Further evaluation of the ecological vulnerability using AHP analysis in the waters surrounding Yongan fishing port, the "Sea surface temperature (weight 0.279)" in the "marine environment", the "Biodiversity and species composition (0.503)" in the " Fishery resource", the " Cost (weight 0.528)" in the " Marine industries", the " Elder in marine industry (weight 0.294) " in the " Social and human", the " Scale of fishing vessel" is the highest weight(0.338) in the " Fishing operation", and the " Marine protected areas (weight 0.253)" in the " Policy management" dimension, might play an important role in Yongan Fishing Port. Finally, the vulnerability value is estimated as 0.362 with the exposure value 0.367, the sensitivity value 0.298, the risk value 0.448, and the adaptive capacity 0.651.
