碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 環境生物與漁業科學學系 / 106 / In recent years, climate change and variability have led to frequent and extreme disasters in the world. Fishery villages living the fishermen and with related industries might be influenced in decreasing catch associated with the long-term changes of the marine environments. Mackerel fishery is one of the major fishing industries in the offshore fisheries, Taiwan. In recent years, the annual fish landing of mackerel is occupying more than 50% of the total fish production about 160,000 tons by year. For reducing the possible impact by the change of marine environment, it is necessary to evaluate the vulnerability of fishing villages at Badouzi and Nanfangao for improvements and adjustments of management strategies on sustainable development aids. In this study, the marine environment and fish landing data of mackerel by Taiwanese purse seiner were simultaneously collected in the waters of northeastern Taiwan. The questionnaire and analytical hierarchy processes were used to compare the vulnerability difference of these two villages. The expert questionnaire results showed that "sea surface temperature changes" was the key index occupying the average weight of 0.645 in the "marine environment" session, and the next is "fish distribution and migration changes" with the average weight of 0.297 in the "fishery resources" field. The "closed fishing season" with the weigh factor 0.374 in "society and policy management" view was suggested to consider as one of the strategies. Totally the vulnerability of the fishing villages in Badouzi was 1.08 lower than that 1.342 in Nanfangao, while the adaption ability of the former was better than the latter.
