Study on Interaction Coefficients of a Modular Mathematical Model for Submarine Maneuvering Motions / 潛艦操縱運動模組化數學模式交互作用係數之探討

碩士 / 國立臺灣大學 / 工程科學及海洋工程學研究所 / 106 / The present study focuses on utilizing CFD (computational fluid dynamics) method to calculate the hydrodynamic coefficients of submarine in an infinite fluid and investigate its interaction coefficients. On the basis of a MMG (Maneuvering Modeling Group) mathematical model for ship in Japan, our laboratory, maneuvering and control laboratory in National Taiwan University, has developed the modular modeling methodology for submarine. Under such a background, the submarine can be divided into several parts including fuselage, sail, bow planes, stern planes, rudder, propeller and so on. And the hydrodynamic characteristics of each part can be analyzed mathematically individually. By conducting a series of CFD simulation including performance test of single element, submarine straight towing test (rudders or planes with/without angle of attack) and rotating arm test (for propeller and rudder), the interact effects between the elements and interact effects caused by submarine motions are able to be investigated. And those interaction coefficients can be determined.
By applying the obtained results of interaction coefficients into the submarine maneuvering simulation program, which is also developed by our lab, and carrying out a series of submarine maneuvering test simulations, the effects of interaction coefficients on the submarine maneuvering can be effectively compared and discussed.
