Gorgeous rhetoric is reflected in poetry and ink painting – The Study of Creation in Silent poetry by Tsai, Hsien-Mo / 麗藻映詩海-「無聲詩」創作研究

碩士 / 國立臺灣藝術大學 / 書畫藝術學系 / 106 / This study was to investigate the fields of knowledge of art theory, art history and aesthetics related to ancient and modern poetry and painting, as well as in the induction and analysis of the book for the“Painting-in-poetry”, “Poem in a painting”, “Poetry Containing Painting(calligraphy included)” , “Painting Containing Poetry(calligraphy included)” form and artistic conception of the related ideas. Selected a gorgeous rhetoric or a simple, elegant style of poetry, trying to figure out the author's situation, by generating symbols from rhetoric, from symbols to generate images, and from the image to produce rhythm, to achieve this realm. And the creation of poetry and painting related works, reinterpretation of the poet want to express feelings. In order to make the creation and theoretical research mutually verify, to clarify the personal thinking and combing the creative connotation and form, so the use of citation analysis, iconography method as the research method of the paper.
The author has a literary and calligraphy background; thus the perspectives of literature, philosophy, and art history were further investigated. The following is the basic structure of the paper briefly:
In the first Chapter, the motivation and objective, research content and scope, research methods and steps, and explanation of terms were expounded. The second Chapter discussed the theory of Chinese painting history and the topic of the thesis related, including "the theory of expressing Taoist thought with natural painting", "the theory of triggering imagination, emotions and memories through various artistic creations" and "the theory of transformation poetry into painting ". The third Chapter discussed the interchange and application of literature and aesthetics, the use of literary rhetoric image transformation, artistic creation with literary rhetoric, and the definition of aesthetic modification and the principle of wisely utilization. The creative ideas and forms of the author were explained in the fourth Chapter by analyzing self-works. The fifth chapter is the conclusion and future prospect. Through the research and creation of the practice process, the author has the feeling and reviews, can be used as the guide and direction of the future creation, and discussed the self-expectations in the future, in poetry calligraphy and paintings will be the unity and balance together, expecting to create a blend of poetry and the scene, resonant and moving works.
