An Analysis to Business Model and Business Strategy of A Yacht Club in Taiwan / 台灣A遊艇俱樂部的商業模式與經營策略分析

碩士 / 實踐大學 / 企業管理學系碩士在職專班 / 106 / With the development of living standards, the traffic consumption mode has made a great change and yacht is considered to be a new kind of fashion consumption after the car. Developing yacht industry is benefit for economy and social value. The information of International Council of Marine Industry Associations shows that the driving coefficient of yacht industry is up 1:9. Yacht club is the core link of yacht marine industry, playing an important role in yacht industry development. As the vehicle for marine tourism, yacht club is good for enriching tourism structure. Taiwan's first professional “A Yacht Club” was established in 2014. A Yacht Club is different from the general yacht club, A company to the club as a starting point to develop yacht leisure industry related projects, from the yacht rental, parking, escrow, training and certification, wharf theme activities, all-round operation. This study uses the nine elements of the Business Model Canvas proposed by Osterwalder and Pigneur (2010) as a research tool to analyze its value proposition, internal activities and external activities through an in-depth interview with “A Yacht Club”. It is expected that through the business model understanding of the business model and business strategy of individual companies based on the elements of customer segmentations, value propositions, channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key partners and cost structure. According to the results of the analysis, seven proposals to innovate business models and operations are appropriate in order to enhance their competitive advantage. In response to the advantages of Taiwan's ocean tourism, in the face of the slow development of the emerging industries in the yacht clubs, the government made suggestions to the government to improve the open sea environment through the use of technology management, the relaxation of legal provisions and the establishment of industrial incentives. Through the BOT model, the integrated management team of Yacht Club and Yacht Base has led the international yachtsmen to take Taiwan as the base and introduced international teams to promote their yacht activities.
