博士 / 樹德科技大學 / 人類性學研究所 / 106 / Aim: This study was to evaluate the relationship between sexual dysfunction, sexual behavior and serum testosterone among heroin users. Method: One hundred male heroin users who were aged over 20 year-old and lived with sexual partner were assessed in this cross-sectional study. Instruments included sexual dysfunction scale (as assessed by the International Index of Erectile Function 15, IIEF-15), sexual desire scale and sexual behavior scale. All participants also complete a basic information sheet and serum testosterone test. We constructed a multiple regression model to examine the associations between the determinants and sexual dysfunction. Results: Age had a significant relationship with the severity of sexual dysfunction after controlling for all important variables. Also, marital status was also a predictor of better sexual function. However, serum testosterone was not significantly associated with sexual dysfunction. Discussion: The relationship between partner relationship and sexual dysfunction deserves further investigation.
