碩士 / 國立臺北科技大學 / 車輛工程系 / 106 / Automatic guidance is one of keys to vehicle automatic parking which can help drivers to find a parking spot, saving time. Building a complete infrastructure for vehicles to automatically parking might require a lot of modifications and resources. This study develops an automatically parking and picking-up system for a vehicle based on the existing parking systems, to reduce the required parking time and fuel/energy consumption while users are driving around the parking lots.
In this research, an automatic guided vehicle (AVG) is used for demonstration to verify the design concept. Combining the visual identification and simple guidance information, vehicle can detect roads and lights. The signal linking with vehicle driveline system can keep the vehicle moving within the lane, detect an empty parking spot, and help the vehicle to perform the automatic parking. Bluetooth is used to call for the vehicle and is combined with the developed automatic guidance scheme to find the exit to pick up the driver.
The results demonstrate the automatically parking and picking-up successfully. Users can save about 5-10 minutes in each parking or picking-up process, and can spend more time in shopping or business.
