A Study on Oversea Travel Motivation, Risk Perceptions and Reduction Strategies for Female Backpackers / 女性自助旅行之海外旅遊動機、風險知覺與避險策略之研究

碩士 / 稻江科技暨管理學院 / 休閒遊憩管理學系碩士班 / 106 / With the developing imformation technology and the accumulating tourism experience, the self-help travel has been an alternative for international tourism. This paper selects the female as targets to explore the oversea travel motivation, risk perceptions and reduction strategies through the questionnaire survey. A total of 400 samplers are distributed and 385 valid samples are collected with an effective return rate of 96.25%. The descriptive statistical analysis, Item-analysis, reliability analysis, analysis of variance and Pearson correlation analysis are adopted in this paper. The anayslis results show the female backpackers have moderate-hight travel motivation, especially in self development and also have moderate-high risk perceptions, which mainly produce from the media coverage. The all kinds of reduction strategies are adopeted by female backpackers. In addition, the variable characters of female backpackers have different travel motivation, risk perceptions and reduction strategies. The travel motivation, risk perceptions and reduction strategies have the significantly moderate positive correlation. The analysis findings supply a helpful reference in the overseas market promotion of female backpackers and the relevant marketing strategy.
