The Marketing Strategy for the Milkfish Farming Industry - Evidenced from Tainan Area / 虱目魚產業行銷策略之研究-以台南地區為例

碩士 / 環球科技大學 / 中小企業經營策略管理研究所 / 106 / Under the impact of globalization, Taiwan is facing challenges in politics, economy, culture, society, education and food safety. In recent years, food safety and the “product certification system” have become the most important topics for the Taiwanese fishery industry. It is imperative that the fishery industry adapt its marketing strategy for thinking globally but act locally, to stand out in this fiercely competitive global environment.
This study focused on the milkfish farming industry in Tainan, and the business strategy analysis of the aquaculture-farming operators. SWOT analysis was conducted to identify the key factors for successful marketing of customized products. This study also proposed some future marketing and operation strategy for the milkfish farming industry.
The focus of this study was as follows:
1. Understand and analyze the current status of the milkfish industry in Tainan.
2. Explore the cooperation between production and marketing of the milkfish farming industry in Tainan.
3. Develop new marketing strategy for the Tainan Milkfish industry.
