Also, the cooperation relationship of the ocean shipping supply chain has nowadays become the trend of development. The purpose of the cooperation among the supply chain enterprises is to shorten the response time of the market, reduce cost, lower stock and create customer satisfaction to enhance operational efficiency.
Therefore it is necessary to make the operation of the upstream, and the downstream smooth and the close cooperating relation among the members of the supply chain, in which included are market information transmittance, mutual credibility and cooperation behavior relation and so on, to create competitiveness in the ocean shipping supply chain.
The author of the article has served in the customs related business with experiences of more than ten years, combining the theory that he has learned as a basis and exploring in depth the behavior relation among the members of the ocean supply chain in Taiwan. This article integrates the behavior relation of the supply chain of ocean shipping members in Taiwan and the literature of the relative scholars. Then with the sampling of the ocean supply chain members in Taiwan as a basis to study in the format of the survey questionnaire, issuing 300 questionnaires, retrieving back 192 copies and thus analyzing, researching and examining to see if the assumption of this study is valid.
The analysis result confirms that the behavior relation in trust, the share of knowledge and coordinated cooperation has evident and positive influence. To promote the improvement in the overall supply chain of ocean shipping, from strengthening the trust among members of the supply chain, encouraging knowledge sharing and further implementing coordinated cooperation, may fulfill the efficiency of the supply chain of ocean shipping so as to promote the long-term collaboration among the supply chain members, enhance the operation efficiency and decision making response time and reduce operation cost etc. in the favorable development. Lastly, the improvement and suggestions are provided to keep on increasing the number of sampling to make the study in broader levels and depth.
