Investigating the Influence Factors of Sewage Sewer’s Pipe-Connection Construction and Their Countermeasures / 探討污水下水道用戶接管施工之影響因子及因應對策

碩士 / 國立雲林科技大學 / 營建工程系 / 106 / Sewer is the important infrastructure in the modern cities and also one of the indicators representing national progress. Due to the late start in Taiwan’s sewer construction, the buildings stand in great numbers in most cities and the back alleys are filled with illegal buildings; meanwhile the road is densely covered with the pipelines concerning people's livelihood. Thus, it is difficult for the current sewer user’s to connect the pipes to affect the user’s popularity rate of pipe connection and overall benefits. This research aims to discuss the problems encountered by sewage system, construction factors and the solutions. The paper-based questionnaire survey was adopted and the governmental personnel related to sewage system were the respondents. By means of collecting the literature and referring to the related the questionnaires compiled by the theory, the preliminary pre-test questionnaire was formed and the test was done. The research tools include “Scale for respondent’s basic information”, “Scale for the problems encountered by the pipe connection of sewage system”, “Scale for the factors affecting the construction of pipe connection of sewage system” and “Scale for the solutions to the pipe connection of sewage system”. The pre-test questionnaires were distributed, then the reliability and validity analysis were conducted against the pre-test questionnaires retrieved and lastly the formal questionnaire was formed by deleting the improper items. A total of 83 formal questionnaires were distributed, 80 ones were retrieved and the recovery rate is 96%; there are 79 valid questionnaires and the valid recovery rate is 95%. SPSS22.0 version software package was applied to carry out the descriptive analysis, reliability and validity verification, independent sample t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis and regression analysis. The conclusion for this research is shown as below:
1. The governmental personnel have the higher cognition for the problems encountered by sewage system, construction affecting factors and solutions.
2. The governmental personnel having different backgrounds have no significant difference in the problems encountered. In terms of the different sex, age, educational background, seniority and the number of cases, there is no significant difference in the construction affecting factors of pipe connection of sewage system. The governmental personnel in different service units have the significant difference in total scale of affecting factors, impact of the earlier advocacy and the impact of the construction duration. In terms of the different sex, age, educational background, seniority, title, years of working in sewer and the number of cases, there is no significant difference in the solutions. The governmental personnel in different service units have the significant difference in the solutions.
3. Among the affecting factors, the impact of the earlier advocacy, impact of project commencement duration, impact of construction duration and the impact of subsequent maintenance are significantly positively correlated to the problems encountered. Among the affecting factors, the impact of the earlier advocacy and impact of construction duration are significantly positively correlated to solutions.
4. Among the affecting factors, impact of project commencement duration is significantly negatively correlated to the problems encountered and the impact of construction duration and the impact of subsequent maintenance among the affecting factors are significantly positively correlated to the problems encountered.
According to the research results, it is suggested that the sewage system workers should attach importance to the sewer construction work, establish the complete drawing and information files and strengthen the influence of the earlier advocacy to increase the ability to work towards the solutions. The follow-up researches should expand the respondents and add the qualitative research to improve the research results.
