Applied Research on Planning and Design Of Sponge City / 海綿城市規劃設計之應用研究(技術報告)

碩士 / 中國科技大學 / 土木與防災設計系 / 107 / Due to the geographical location of Taiwan, natural disasters have been frequent since ancient times. In the World Bank's “Natural Disaster Hotspots: Global Risk Analysis” report, it shows that Taiwan is a high-risk area for natural disasters, so the threat to natural disasters can’t be ignored.
This paper uses the "Sponge City" structure of Taipei as the main research motive and integrates the planning and design practices of urban rainwater management in foreign cities (Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia) and the reference to the "Sponge City Construction Practical Technical Handbook" in China. The facilities planned by each city will be used as the standard for the questionnaire, and the statistical results will be applied to the sponge city policy framework in Taipei City. Finally, the flooding potential of Wenshan District announced by the National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction(NCDR) will be used as the recommended facility.
