Analysis of Housing Drainage Product Competition in Strategy Development-Taking C Company as an Example / 集合住宅給水排水產品競爭發展策略之分析-以C公司為例

碩士 / 正修科技大學 / 經營管理研究所 / 107 / The purpose of housing drain waste vent system not only is to remove sewage and grey water from the building freely, but most importantly is to prevent odor and hazardous insects or pests from invading into the building. Thus, the quality of the DWV system is essential for housing quality and environmental hygiene.
The environment of traditional plumbing industry in Taiwan is very competitive, companies and enterprises seek to sustain their business by both carefully assessing their resources and grasping all opportunity, continuously upgrading product just so to survive in the on-changing circumstance.
Three major products are the main objects for this research, which are gully drain, AAV and cast-iron pipe. We used four different kinds of methods to self-analyze. PEST is to analyze our opportunities as well as threats of the products. On the other hand, we used SWOT to set up strategies toward our competitors. After that, there is a method called “Five-way analyze”, which is to sort out the various competing environments of the industry. Furthermore, we use BCCT matrix to evaluate the performance of our product, All the methods mentioned above we used as tool to establish our brand, market analyze and product management.
All the researches done on our product helps to elevate our competitiveness and can give reference to all the other case companies for both product management and ultimately, company sustainability in the future.
