A Discussion on the Oyster Raft Culture and Development of Leisure Fishery – Based on the Design of New Oyster Raft Structure / 臺南安平地區蚵棚養殖與休閒漁業發展之探討-基於新式蚵棚結構之設計開發

碩士 / 台灣首府大學 / 休閒管理學系碩士班 / 107 / Taiwan is surrounded by the sea and is spread over many fishing villages. It has good conditions for the development of various types of leisure fisheries. Take the Tainan area as an example, oyster farming is an important and traditional industry. However, in addition to taste various dishes made from oysters, the other forms of leisure activities such as experience and education are rare. What is the reason? Is there any approach to solve it? What is the possible effect of this approach? The main reason is that sheds are considered breeding. The structure is built with bamboo, which is unsafe and is easily damaged by the intrusion of the typhoon. It also causes the environment to be messy and destroys the quality of tourism. This paper proposes a solution from the practical experience, that is, designing and developing a new type of shed. Based on this concept, the purpose of this study is to "based on the design and development of the new shed structure, to explore the solution to the shed culture problem in the Anping area (Yuguang Island) in Tainan and the feasibility and operational feasibility of its recreational fishery".
This paper takes the oyster culture village in Anping area of Tainan as a discussion case, discusses the problem of shed culture, the design of the new shed structure, and the in-depth interviews with oyster farmers, Yuguang Island residents and government officials. The purpose is to understand the combination of the new type of shed in the aquaculture industry and leisure fishery.
For these research contents, this paper proposes the following conclusions.
1. The oyster breeding industry is a traditional industry in the Anping area of Tainan (Yuguang Island). At present, it faces the problem of environmental pollution and the difficulty in promoting the development of recreational fisheries. The main reason is that traditional trusses are made of bamboo and buoyancy is provided by styrofoam. The lack of strength of the truss and the difficulty in recycling styrofoam cause the above-mentioned environmental pollution and leisure safety problems.
2. This paper proposes to develop a new type of shed structure as a solution to the current situation of the existing oyster farming industry and the problem of recreational fishery. After various types of R&D and testing, and the practical advice of the experienced tenant, the final development of the shed structure is a "kit" structure, and named "light assembly integrated kit". This structure is not only easy to operate for tenant farmers, but also has no doubt about strength.
3. In order to understand the feasibility of the new truss, this paper conducts in-depth interviews, focusing on the oyster production of the tenant, the management of the leisure industry, and the government-related policy aspects. The main conclusions are:
(1) The new truss adopts PVC or HDPE as the material, which not only facilitates the recovery of materials but also strengthens the structural strength, which can reduce fishermen's losses and environmental pollution, and is expected to increase in both aquaculture production and quality.
(2) The safety of new shacks can improve the feasibility and willingness of fishermen to promote recreational fisheries.
(3) If residents are willing to adopt new style sheds and achieve environmental protection goals, the government's policies can be adjusted together, especially to increase the development of recreational fisheries.
