Credit business is one of the most traditional and basic business of Taiwan's commercial banks. The credit business also have different appearances due to changes in time and space. With the impact of the international wave and the gap caused by the shift of local industries, the banking industry is also facing key challenges. It is necessary to find a specific business to make up the gap. Overseas credit has become an important key business of revenue for banks in recent years.
The banking industry is different from the general manufacturing industry in that it requires large areas of land and plants. The banking industry needs policy planning and risk management to create performance. Therefore, in countries where land resources are scarce, through financial expansion, they can also have a place in the international arena. How the banking industry avoids price competition and seeks the advantages of the international market will test the wisdom of the operators.
This study summarizes and analyzes the key success factors of overseas credit as follows:
1.Intentions.
2. Bank's ability to take risks.
3. Bank brand power.
4. Establishment of a cooperation platform.
5. Policy guidance.
The study also recommends the following:
1. The policy continues to open, strengthen international cooperation, and establish a platform for cooperation among banks through policy guidance.
2. The implementation of risk control, with the goal of international standards, to enhance the bank's ability to take risks.
3. International human resources training and exchange.
4. In the traditional basic business of the bank, join technology and innovation, and find a niche market and develop business more efficiently.
