碩士 / 國立勤益科技大學 / 專案管理研究所 / 107 / Taiwan is an island country with abundant resources and beautiful natural ecology. In addition to import and export trade, the economic benefits come from the tourism industry. However, according to the information released by the Tourism Bureau, the number of Mainland China tourists coming to Taiwan has declined in recent years, so that the occupancy rate has continuously declined. Such pressure brought to the hotels located in the major tourist attractions, including Ken-ting, Sun Moon Lake, and Hualien, has been rising as well. Therefore, many hotels have begun to transform or develop features, such as theme hotels, featured bed and breakfast, etc., to attract tourists. Among them, quite a few theme hotels containing novel contents, like Taichung unattended hotels and diving hotels, have successfully incorporated their features into accommodations and received good results.
Therefore, this study aims to explore the key success factors of diving hotel. Based on Dynamic Capabilities Perspective (DCT), this study explored and developed criteria and dimensions for the key success factors of diving theme hotels, followed by the expert questionnaire. Intentional sampling was employed for investigation. Possible key success factors were sorted out through Fuzzy Delphi Methods (FDM). Next, the second questionnaire was conducted. The DEMATEL-based Analytic Network Process (DANP) was used to interview experts and scholars to find out the degree of association between dimensions and criteria. Finally, this study organized and summarized the order of key success factors as “integration ability”, “learning ability”, and “reconstruction ability”. Therefore, it can be learned that the manager of the diving-themed hotel should give preference to the integration ability as well as analyze the management meaning based on the criteria priority when taking the ability dimension into consideration. It is expected that this study can be referred by the related industries or the accommodation industry which is to be transformed.
