The Simulation Analysis of Seakeeping Performance on the Preliminary Design of a Semi-Planning Hull / 半滑航艇波浪運動性能之初步設計分析方法

碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 系統及船舶機電工程學系 / 107 / With the emphasis on maritime traffic safety, Safety of navigation has become an important issue. Not only the performance of the ship and the comfortableness of personnel, also seakeeping and structural strength of the ship must also be considered during the design stage to meet the requirements of the ship-owner.
Based on the two-dimensional strip theory, the present study employs the potential flow theory and the two-dimensional source point Green's function to solve the boundary value problems. Seakeeping performance of high-speed boats can be explored by setting different ship speeds, wave angles and sea conditions.
The feasibility of the numerical approach in the study have been verified with sea trial data. Seakeeping performance for high-speed boats have been discussed under various sailing attitude.The comparison results show that the computation result gained very similar trend with the verification object, thus the numerical approach could provide great reference basis during the preliminary design stage.
