碩士 / 國立東華大學 / 海洋生物研究所 / 107 / Study on the chemical constituents of the sea whip gorgonian Junceella fragilis had led to the isolation of five briarane-type diterpenoids, including two new briaranes, fragilides P (1) and Q (2), as well as three know analogues, juncin ZI (3), robustolide F (4), and juncin Z (5). In addition, six known eunicellins, litophynol B (6), scleropytin F methyl ether (7), klymollin W (8), cladiellisin (9), (1R*,2R*,3R*,6S*,7S*,9R*,10R*,14R*)-3-butanoyloxycladiell-11(17)-en-6,7-diol (10) and sclerophytin E (11), were isolated from Cladiella sp. The structures of metabolites 111 were established by spectroscopic methods and comparison of the spectroscopic data with those of related compounds.
In terms of anti-inflammatory test, juncin Z (5) showed a weak inhibitory effect against the generation of superoxide anion with 25.56 ± 10.07 % at a concentration of 10 µM.
