Current Situation of Marine Education Teaching in National Elementary Schools--A Case Study of Kinmen County / 國民小學之海洋教育教學現況--以金門縣為例

碩士 / 國立高雄師範大學 / 教育學系 / 107 / The purpose of this study was to explore the implementation status of marine general education in Kinmen County by in-depth interviews. The researchers selected a primary school from each of the five townships in Kinmen, visited the five ocean-related situational arrangements on the campus of the primary school, and asked the promoters' teaching methods and psychological attitudes to explore the promotion of Kinmen marine education. To explore whether it will affect the promotion of marine education in Kinmen County. The interviewees are the relevant agencies of the marine education institutions, which are viewed from the roles of the government and the schools to verify and contrast each other.

In terms of research methods, this study uses semi-structured interviews and document analysis to understand the opinions and suggestions of teachers and relevant executives in promoting marine education. The document analysis includes: White Paper on marine education, Application for Promotion of Marine Education Project by the Kinmen County government. the verbatim draft of the recording file and the research diary, The results compiled are summarized as follows:

1. The resources of marine education in Kinmen County are very abundant. Regardless of funding, human resources and teaching field, there are abundant. However, due to the diversified educational development direction of Kinmen County, teachers need to take into account many development priorities at the same time. Therefore, the investment and attention to marine education are less common. At present, there is still a lack of complete marine education system planning, which makes it difficult to achieve effective use of resources.

2. The current teaching design is mostly based on outdoor experience teaching. The interesting and life-oriented curriculum content can attract students' concentration and absorption. Although there are still some external restrictions in the process, for example, the attitudes and expertise of parents and teachers. but most of the respondents believe that marine education is a very important subject of the curriculum, which is worthy of promotion and is also suitable for the development of school-based curriculum.

To conclude, the findings and the conclusion of the study will be provided to educational administrative units and educators in promoting marine education, as well as references for future research.
