The Correlated Research of Nutritious Knowledge, Attitude and Dietary Behaviors in Public Offshore Island Hospital / 離島公立醫院員工之營養知識、營養態度與飲食行為相關性研究

碩士 / 國立澎湖科技大學 / 食品科學系碩士班 / 107 / This research uses questionnaires to investigate employees in public offshore island hospital under Health and Welfare Department. From the total number of 283 in-service employees, 272 people returned valid questionnaires; the recovery percentage is 96.1%. In the use of the software of SPSS analyzing, it indicates that nutritious knowledge is significantly relevant to smoking, age, body situation and BMI. In other words, people without smoking obtain better nutritious knowledge. People aged between 40 and 49 have better nutritious knowledge than people aged between 50 and 59. In nutritious knowledge, people aware of their body situations have better performance. Persons who are underweight of BMI have better nutritious knowledge than those of normal BMI. The nutritious attitude is apparently related to sports, reading healthy newspapers or magazines, age, job tenure, educational background, body situation and BMI. In nutritious attitude, people working out surpass people without working out. People with reading habits obtain better nutritious attitude than people without reading habits. Persons aged between 50 and 59 or above 60 have better nutritious knowledge than those aged between 30 and 39. In nutritious attitude, people with 20-year job tenure surpass people with less 1-year job tenure. People with junior / senior-high-school degrees obtain better nutritious attitude than those with college degrees. Persons who are overweight of BMI have better nutritious attitude than those of underweight BMI. The female have better dietary behavior than the male. People with reading habits gain better dietary behaviors than those without reading habits. People aged between 50 and 59 have better dietary behavior than people aged between 20 and 29. The longer he/she works in the hospital, the better he/she has dietary behavior. Persons working in the hospital above 20 years have better dietary behavior than those working less a year. In dietary behavior, nursing staffs and administrative personnel surpass medical professionals
Through Pearson’s correlation coefficient analyzing coherence, it indicates that nutritious attitude is positively correlated with dietary behavior in analyzing nutritious knowledge; nutritious attitude is certainly correlated with dietary behavior under analyzing. To sum up, nutritious attitude, dietary behavior and nutritious knowledge are positively correlated and affect one another. This modulus matches Schwartz(1975) theory of nutritious knowledge, attitude and dietary behavior. The better nutritious knowledge, the better nutritious attitude. As a consequence, people perform better dietary behavior.
