博士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 河海工程學系 / 107 / For the issues of coastal and river management, the background information must include such as sand transport, nearshore flow field, depth and bathymetry of coastal area. In the past, regarding to personnel safety and working efficiency, the background information mostly are collected by long-term monitoring and numerical simulation methods. However, under present extreme weather conditions, it is a vital consideration of how to obtain and provide real-time information for the management department, and improve the safety level of coastal and river protection. With the development of Internet, it is necessary to develop a process of combining and calculating variety of measurement data in order to facilitate the research of the hydrodynamics and sand transportation along the estuary area. Therefore, this study utilize the Internet and the Internet of Things technology to develop devices to measure water level, flow rate and water depth data. By defining communication protocol for each measuring devices, measurements can be accessed by cloud computing technology, with combining of nearshore surveying data, the information of streamflow can be calculated and post on web simultaneously. In order to solve the completeness of topography in the intertidal zone, this study also develop a web service of Kriging estimation. By cross-checking, users can easily to obtain an optimized model and parameters to build up GIS database. Based on the concept of life-cycle management of coastal structure and consideration of forming a standardized coastal structure inspection and maintenance assessment procedures, the development of a structural inspection and maintenance management information system can be applied to several aspects such as safety and function detection for coastal structure maintenance and management. Finally, we developed an Cloud Computing for Engineering Survey System to combine river survey and coastal management.
