Taiwan’s mobile business penetration rate has reached 64.9%, the influence of mobile commerce on various industries cannot be underestimated. This study, with the two online shopping platforms Shopee and Rakuten being the main research objects, explores how the interface design can bring good experience to users. It attempts to find out the main points of the APP interface design of the e-commerce platform through case study, observation. questionnaires and thinking aloud. Finally, suggests improvement for the APP interface design of the e-commerce platforms. The research results show that: (1) The Shopee APP is superior to Rakuten in terms of effectiveness .performance and satisfaction. (2) Summarized 14 design key points of the e-commerce platform APP: the color matching of key visual, keep the white space moderately, separate different features by color, locate the main features to bottom navigation bar, generalize the naming of categories, integrate the advertisements, simplified the step of using the app, giving the user visual feedback as soon as possible, sliding window is better than toggle menu. (3) The improvement suggestions for Shopee: reduce the advertisement banner, improve the tolerance of product searching; The improvement suggestions for Rakuten are reduce the amount of toggle menu, increase the white space, unified the icon of transitioning animation, reduce the amount of input user data repeatedly, improve visual layering, integrate notification feature, simplified the communication process between buyers and sellers.
