碩士 / 國立臺灣科技大學 / 管理研究所 / 107 / According to the statistics of this study, 74.4% of the elderly prefer “home care,” 95.1% place great emphasis on the elderly living at home, and 81.7% are willing to assist and improve the introduction of new technologies.
Most elderly feel that they can perform healthy activities. However, when they retire, the time of discretion is relatively increased. They do not know how to properly live, so the pre-retirement work style is replaced to arrange daily life. Maintaining the quality of life is important, but the arrangement of various activities is even more important for the elderly. The primary task is to provide a comprehensive, holistic, health-promoting, and intergenerational communion care services. This task can be effectively performed by integrating(Internet of Things)IoT’s technical service model, home life management, and care design strategy.
With reference to the literature and successful development attempts of pioneers to identify the characteristics of the elderly and meet their needs, the government has promoted policies for elderly care, inferred service methods and strategies, improved the quality of home care services, enhanced overall satisfaction, and proposed innovative and appropriate business models.
