碩士 / 國立高雄大學 / 亞太工商管理學系碩士班 / 107 / This study investigates, mainly from the perspective of Malaysian Independent High School students, the factors influencing overseas Chinese students’ willingness to study abroad in Taiwan’s colleges and universities, and develops a conceptual pattern using the relevant factors according to the push-pull-mooring (PPM) theory proposed by relevant literatures. The factors influencing the willingness of Independent High School students to study abroad in Taiwan were studied by applying the related analysis and the regression analysis. The objects of this study are mainly senior students from Independent high Schools; in the form of an online questionnaire by using Facebook Messenger as the main route to send in order to understand the Taiwanese universities for Malaysian Independent High School students who may come to Taiwan to study in the future will study abroad. This study has the following findings :
1. The Push-Pull-Straddling Theory has an impact on the willingness of Independent High School students to study in Taiwan.
2. The effect of push effect, including interpersonal network information and self-efficacy, on the willingness to study abroad.
3. The effect of pull effect, including economic cost factor and perceived value, on the willingness to study abroad.
4. The effect of mooring effect, including policy satisfaction and relationship inertia, on the willingness to study abroad.
