Study of Black Tea Microcapsule by Sodium Alginate at Color Retention Efficiency and Application / 以海藻酸鈉包覆紅茶萃取的留色效能及應用之探討

碩士 / 靜宜大學 / 化粧品科學系 / 107 / Due to the development of the chemical industry, chemicals are everywhere in everyday life. Although the chemical industry contributes to the improvement of quality of life, it often causes health damage. Therefore, it is desirable in this experiment to replace the use of chemical pigments with natural pigments.
The natural pigment in this experiment is obtained by extracting black tea leaves with propylene glycol as a solvent and heating by microwave heating extraction. Thearubigin is the main pigment source of black tea. However, because the color is susceptible to the pH of the external environment, the color changes from dark reddish brown to light brown in acidic and alkaline solutions. Therefore, microcapsules using sodium alginate as a shell material were used in the experiment, and the formulation was studied to obtain the best coverage and stability. Finally, the particle size determination, morphology observation, water release rate, color change of different pH values, transdermal analysis and application of microcapsules of black tea microcapsules were discussed.
Finally, it can be known from experiments that the microcapsules prepared by using sodium alginate as the shell material can effectively coat the black tea propylene glycol extract. The coverage rate can be adjusted to 84.73% with the adjustment of the proportion of sodium alginate added, the concentration of gelatin added and the concentration of calcium chloride curing agent. In addition, when the black tea microcapsules are applied to the handmade soap, it can also be known that with the ripening of the handmade soap, the change in the pH value does not affect the color of the black tea microcapsules. Therefore, it can be confirmed that the black tea microcapsule can effectively coat the natural pigment component from the influence of the environmental pH value and is applied to the product.
