碩士 / 聖約翰科技大學 / 工業工程與管理系碩士在職專班 / 107 / The study investigates the correlation of work-related stress, leisure activity participation, job satisfaction, and well-being of flotilla officers. There are 388 officers completed the survey. A descriptive statistical analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression regression were used to analyze the collected data. The results are as follows :
1. Work-related stress experienced by the officers was mainly due to external environmental factors, leisure activity participation was mostly attributed to partaking of entertainment-oriented activities, job satisfaction was highest in terms of colleagues, and well-being as a result of interpersonal relationships.
2. The various sociodemographic characteristics yielded statistically significant results in the work-related stress, leisure activity participation, job satisfaction, and well-being of the officers.
3. Negative correlations were found between these factors: work-related stress & leisure activity participation, work-related stress & job satisfaction, and work-related stress & well-being. On the other hand, positive correlations were found between the following: leisure activity participation & job satisfaction, leisure activity participation & well-being, and job satisfaction & well-being.
4. There were a combined total of six variables in terms of work-related stress, leisure activity participation, and job satisfaction that can be used to predict well-being where the predictive power was at 74.9 %.
5. Leisure activity participation and job satisfaction were found to have a partial mediation effect on work-related stress.
Based on the conducted research, it was found that work-related stress, leisure activity participation, job satisfaction, and well-being of flotilla officers were closely associated with one another. Encouraging the officers to increase their participation in leisure activities may lead to higher job satisfaction and thus increase their overall well-being.
