By using the persistence of vision to build the image in the brain, this uniqueness creates a variety of fascinating transformations which makes the student have a thorough way of telling the stories and reflect the view of creation. This creation was intended to organize the narrative via the fable using the innocent point of view to rebuild the father-son relationship in the childhood. It shows that the student's creative context is inseparable from the family, reflecting the establishment and development of the world view in the works.
As to the creation and the practice of “Prodigal”, the personal enlightenment in the animation was connected to the family background in the first chapter, which shows how the animations at each stage of life have led the student, and which explains the mode of the creativity and the method of seeking the inspiration in arranging the motives and the purposes of the research. The literature review was showed in the second chapter by abstracting the elements of ‘fable of innocence’, ‘father-son relationship’, ‘establishment of world view’, analyzing the relevant cases to deepen the exploration. The development in third chapter was recorded from the vague ideas to the complete concept, and explained that the symbols in the animation correspond to the real world. The arrangement among the shots was analysed. The fulfillment of creative process was written in detail in the fourth chapter, including the character design, the art style, the cultural metaphor, the development of plot, et cetera, and provided the planning and advice in creation. The conclusion in the fifth chapter tracks back to the question proposed in the introduction, and describes the connection between the animation and the art, and the reflection during the whole creating process.
