The Effect of Shipping Information and Interface of E-commerce on Online Purchase Intentions - an Example of Progress Indicator / 購物網站運費及其呈現對線上購買意願之影響-以進度指標為例

碩士 / 國立雲林科技大學 / 資訊管理系 / 107 / With the rapid development of the Internet and technology into the era of ecommerce , marketing experts and interface designers to master consumer behavior , well-designed shopping environment in order to look forward to continued sales growth. In recent years, attention to consumer behavior to abandon shopping, many studies have pointed out that shopping site complex interface design and additional shipping costs are the main reasons to give up shopping, in order to reduce the abandonment rate of shopping carts, e-commerce leader like Amazon with unconditional free shipping marketing strategy. Compared with the smaller retailers free shipping is the cost of pressure, so the smaller retailers through the amount of money to reach a certain threshold and then provide free shipping service strategy is quite common in the field of e-commerce.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the use of progress indicator design and free shipping threshold of shipping information for shopping site prototypes to test and use online questionnaires for data collection, and finally returned 32 questionnaires, two-way analysis of variance and follow-up semi-structured interviews as aide.
The research results for the progress indicator design and free shipping threshold of shipping information shopping site did affect the customer's purchase intentions, and proposed design and suggestions for future research.
