Psicólogo / Diferentes estudios han mostrado que los usuarios de poppers en contextos sexuales usan el antianginoso como dilatador anal. El discurso biomédico ha establecido que los hombres que tienen sexo con hombres usuarios de la sustancia son sujetos en riesgo para la conversión a VIH+. Desde un posicionamiento crítico y transdisciplinario planteamos otra posibilidad de comprender el uso de la sustancia en estos sujetos. En esta investigación analizamos el sistema de discursos de usuarios entrevistados, indagando principalmente la relación existente entre el uso de la sustancia y el cuerpo, el placer y la sexualidad. Desde el análisis proponemos que el poppers actúa como artefacto tecnológico que asiste no solo la desnaturalización de los límites corporales, sino también el cambio de la experiencia dolorosa en la penetración anal a placer, asistencia que permite re-experimentar el cuerpo y la sexualidad / Abstract Different studies have shown that users of poppers in sexual contexts use theantianginal as an anal dilator. The established biomedical discourse states that men who have sex with other men -users of the substance- are most at risk of HIV transmission. From a critical and transdisciplinary standpoint, we suggest that there are other possibilities for understanding its use among subjects. In this study, we analyze the discourse system among the interviewed users, inquiring mainly about the subject’s existing relationship with the use of the substance and their body, pleasure and sexuality. From the data analysis, we propose that poppers act as a technological artifact that assists users not only in the process of denaturalization of body boundaries, but also in the transformation from the painful experience of anal penetration to a pleasurable one, assistance which allows one to re-invent the relationship with their body and their sexuality
