Este estudo foi constituído de três capítulos com os seguintes objetivos: conhecer o perfil de oito equipes do PSF e cinco equipes de saúde bucal de cinco municípios de pequeno porte da região Noroeste do Estado de São Paulo, Brasil; identificar a intensidade do relacionamento entre a equipe, o interesse, a satisfação e a motivação dos profissionais do PSF bem como conhecer o perfil e a realidade de trabalho dos Agentes Comunitários de Saúde. A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de entrevista utilizando-se um questionário semi-estruturado e a tabulação foi realizada no Programa EPI-INFO 2000 versão 6.04. Como resultado, as equipes do PSF eram constituídas de pessoas jovens (entre 18 e 29 anos), com alta rotatividade de seus membros (menos de um ano de trabalho) e residentes no município onde trabalhavam e todos os profissionais apresentaram dificuldades no relacionamento com seus pares na equipe do PSF. A falta de experiência, integração e motivação dos membros das equipes comprometiam as suas ações na comunidade. Os ACS, elo entre os usuários e o SUS, manifestaram o desejo de serem mais valorizados pelo gestor. Frente à importância deste Programa, ficou constatado a necessidade em fortalecer, de fato, as relações entre os membros desta equipe multidisciplinar / Abstract: The strategy the Family Health Program - FHP came to consolidate the actions of health offered for the Only System of Health - SUS and deserves a constant evaluation for the scientific community. This study, consisting of three chapters, it had the following objectives: to know the profile of eight teams of the PSF and five teams of buccal health of five cities of small transport of the region the northwest of the State of São Paulo, Brazil; to identify the intensity of relationship between team as well as the interest, the satisfaction and the motivation of the professionals of the PSF; to know the profile and the reality of work of the Communitarian Agents of Health. The collection of data was carried through using a half-structuralized questionnaire. The data was carried through in EPI-INFO 2000 Program version 6.04. As result, the teams of the PSF were constituted of young people (between 18 and 29 years), with high rotation of its members (less of one year of work) and residents in the city where it worked; all the professionals had presented difficulties in the relationship with its pairs in the team of the FHP. The lack of experience, integration and motivation of the members of the teams compromised its actions in the community. The ACS, link between the users and the SUS more demonstrated the desire of being valued by the manager.
