Orientador: Sara Quenzer Matthiesen / Banca: Suraya Cristina Darido / Banca: Maria Veranilda Soares Mota / Resumo: De acordo com os Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais a Orientação Sexual é um tema transversal que deve ser tratado por todas as áreas do currículo escolar. Logo, a Educação Física, ao conceber as práticas da cultura corporal e, como componente curricular integrado à proposta pedagógica da escola, também tem responsabilidade em trabalhar com a Orientação Sexual. Entretanto, as perguntas que surgem são: De que maneira os professores de Educação Física têm lidado com a Orientação Sexual em suas aulas? Como reconhecem a importância da escola e, em especial, das aulas de Educação Física, frente à sexualidade dos adolescentes? Assim sendo, o objetivo desta pesquisa foi investigar como a Orientação Sexual integra a prática pedagógica de professores de Educação Física na escola. A metodologia utilizada foi de natureza qualitativa, tendo como instrumento de investigação a entrevista semi-estruturada. Participaram deste estudo 5 professores de Educação Física da Rede Pública de São Paulo, que acumulam, no mínimo, 5 anos de experiência docente ministrando aulas nos "anos finais" do Ensino Fundamental. Além disso, optou-se pela escolha de professores titulados mestres ou mestrandos na área da Educação Física e que, atualmente, encontram-se vinculados a grupos de pesquisa. Partindo desses critérios, procurou-se registrar, descrever, analisar e interpretar os discursos dos professores entrevistados. Os resultados indicaram que, as manifestações da sexualidade nas aulas de Educação Física, relacionam-se principalmente, aos preconceitos e às necessidades sexuais próprias da adolescência, sendo o papel da Educação Física no trabalho com a Orientação Sexual estudar o corpo e suas "marcas" históricas, bem como, permitir o reconhecimento desse corpo e de suas potencialidades - limites, prazeres e desejos. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: According to National Curriculum Parameters, the Sexual Guidance is a transversal topic that should be treated by all the areas from the curriculum in the school. So, the Physical Education, conceiving the practice of body culture and, as a component inserted in the pedagogical proposal of the school, has also the responsibility to work with the Sexual Guidance. However, the commonly questions are: How can the Physical Education Teachers work with the Sexual Guidance in their classes? How do they recognize the importance of the school and, specially, the Physical Education classes facing the adolescents' sexuality? Considering this, the objective of this research was to investigate how the Sexual Guidance has integrated the pedagogical practice of the Physical Education Teachers in the school. The method used was of the qualitative nature, having a semi-structured interview as an instrument. Five teachers from a Public School in Sao Paulo took part in this study, that together have at least five years of experience, giving classes to the "last years" of Ensino Fundamental. Besides, we decided to choose Professors who are masters at the Physical Education area and that nowadays are connected to groups of research. Leaving from this criterions, was registered, described, analyzed and interpreted the teachers' speeches. The results indicated that the manifestations of sexuality in the Physical Education classes are related to, mainly, prejudice and the adolescents' necessities, at this the role of the Physical Education with the Sexual Guidance is to study the body and its historical marks, as well as, to permit the recognition of the body and its potential - limits, pleasure and wishes.
