Orientador: Sônia Helena de Oliveira Raymundo Piteri / Banca: Márcia Valéria Zamboni Gobbi / Banca: Maria Heloísa Martins Dias / Resumo: As confluências e as rupturas dos gêneros literários, às quais os textos contemporâneos estão submetidos, bem como a dissolução de várias categorias narrativas são observadas na obra Os teclados (1999), de Teolinda Gersão, que nos permite identificar uma forte relação entre duas vertentes da expressão artística: a música e a literatura. Tendo em vista que tal relação se dá, de uma maneira visível, por meio da comparação entre os teclados do piano e do computador, uma análise mais profunda levanos a uma dimensão metaficcional, em que o texto se auto-referencia, se auto-questiona. A música seria, então, um artifício utilizado em favor de se afirmar o processo de elaboração literária do texto. E por conta da forte presença de sons na narrativa, enveredamos pelas vozes do texto, estabelecendo paralelos entre as personagens e as notas musicais. A inserção, no texto literário, de aspectos peculiares ao universo musical constitui-se como uma presença que ecoa significativamente e que vai além do nível temático, manifestando-se também no nível estrutural. Identificam-se esses ecos musicais em trechos da narrativa que lembram o tenuto, indicação de que uma nota ou acorde deve ser prolongado por tempo indeterminado, ou o staccato, toque de uma nota de maneira rápida e destacada das demais. Neste trabalho, refletimos também sobre a atuação do leitor na narrativa contemporânea, tendo em vista que textos que focam o seu próprio processo de construção artística requerem a participação ativa desse leitor, que opera de forma semelhante à de um co-criador, uma vez que ele precisa se envolver, intelectual e imaginariamente, na "recriação" do texto. O leitor é, portanto, chamado a se infiltrar nos meandros da rede ficcional, que trama seus fios, em Os teclados, com os sons do piano, dando origem a um concerto de palavras e notas musicais, linha melódica que se espraia ocupando o espaço da página em branco / Abstract: The confluences and ruptures of literary genre, to which contemporary texts are subjected, as well as the dissolution of several narrative categories, are noticed in the book Os teclados, by Teolinda Gersão, that allows us to identify a strong relationship between two lines of artistic expression: music and literature. Regarding the fact that this relationship is due to the comparison between the keyboard from the piano and the keyboard from the computer, a deeper analyses take us to a matafictional dimension, in which the text is self-referent and self-questioning. Music would be, then, a procedure used to state the literary elaborative process of the text. Due to the strong presence of sounds in the narrative, we go through the 'voices' of the text, establishing parallels between characters and musical notes. The placement, in the text, of aspects which are private to the musical universe constitute itself as a presence that echoes significantly and that goes beyond the thematical level, being also found in the structural level. These musical echoes are identified in parts of the narrative that resemble the tenuto, indication that a note or accord must be held for indeterminate time, or the staccato, the playing of a note in a fast and unique way. In this work, we also reflect about the participation of the reader in contemporary narrative, once the texts that focus their own artistic creative process require the active participation of the reader, that presents itself as a sort of co-creator, due to the necessary involvement, intellectually and imaginatively, in the re-creation of the text. Therefore, the reader is called to place itself among the fictional web, which connects its cables, in Os teclados, with the sounds from the piano, creating a concert of words and musical notes, melodic line that spreads itself, fulfilling the space of the blank page / Mestre
