Este trabalho é um estudo histórico-antropológico sobre a trajetória da Igreja na cidade. O fio condutor é o processo de edificação dos templos e sua cronologia. Não se trata da história dos templos simplesmente, mas sim da história da Igreja através dos templos. A pesquisa toma por base o cotidiano dos adventistas, a vida religiosa da IASD nos templos e bairros. É uma análise da experiência religiosa adventista e sua singularidade. A razão deste estudo é dizer acerca do simbolismo dos templos, da visão de mundo da IASD, das memórias e vivências dentro de um ethos simbólico local / Abstract: The message of the SDAC (Seventh-day Adventist Church) arrived at Ourinhos in the 1950s. This work is a historical-anthropological study on the history of the Church in the city. The wire direction is the process of building the temple and its chronology. This is not just the history of the temples, but the history of the Church through the temples. The research is based on the daily of adventists, religious life in the church's temples and neighborhoods. It is an analysis of the adventist religious experience and their uniqueness.
