Orientador: Bernardo Mançano Fernandes / Banca: Carlos Alberto Feliciano / Banca: Nelson Rodrigo Pedon / Resumo: Este trabalho analisa, sob o enfoque geográfico, o processo de ocupação da região do Pontal do Paranapanema, a formação e dissensão nos movimentos socioterritoriais camponeses, propõe uma reflexão sobre o conceito de movimento socioterritorial e a construção de uma tipologia de movimentos socioterritoriais. O ponto de partida é o protomovimento de ocupação do Vale do Paranapanema. Assim, destacamos os principais sujeitos e processos referentes à grilagem, ocupação e povoação das terras, fluxos migratórios, devastação ambiental e estabelecimento da agropecuária na região. Compreender este processo sob o enfoque têmporo-espacial possibilitou a identificar as bases históricas e materiais do conflito, ou seja, assimilar quais são as raízes das contradições da atualidade e que confluíram para o processo de insurreições políticas organizadas e a formação de movimentos socioterritoriais camponeses. Assim, remontamos também à origem, formação e a história da luta dos movimentos socioterritoriais camponeses do Pontal do Paranapanema... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: This work examines the process of land occupation in the Pontal do Paranapanema using a geographic focus to explore the types of training and sources of dissension among the peasants who make up the region's socio-territorial movements. We critically reflect on the concept of socio-territorial movements, and based on this examination, construct a typology for the concept. The proto-movement of land occupation in the Paranapanema Valley serves as a referential starting point for this investigation, in which the main subjects of study and the processes related to land grabbing/theft, land occupation, settlement, migration, environmental devastation and the establishment of agriculture in the region will be highlighted. Understanding these processes from a temporo-spatial standpoint allows us to identify the historical and material bases of the conflict in the region - that is, to assimilate the roots of the present contradictions which ultimately lead to the process of organized political uprisings and the formation of peasant socio-territorial movements...
