Por vezes, essas agressões são gratuitas, aparentemente inocentes e costumam ser rotineiras entre os alunos que, na maioria das vezes, não as identificam como danosas aos relacionamentos, muito menos como geradoras de situações de violência. O presente estudo teve como objetivo verificar a ocorrência e a correlação do bullying com a qualidade vida entre adolescentes do ensino fundamental II, bem como a percepção dos professores em relação a este tema. A pesquisa seguiu os ditames éticos vigentes. Trata-se de estudo transversal, observacional, descritivo e analítico. Foram visitadas todas as instituições de ensino fundamental (n=22) de um município de médio porte do interior de São Paulo, Brasil, e convidados todos os alunos e professores, cujos desdobramentos foram divididos em dois capítulos. O primeiro capítulo verificou-se a ocorrência de bullying, através da Escala de Vitimização e Agressão entre Pares (EVAP), e a qualidade vida do aluno, por meio do WHOQOL-Bref. No segundo capítulo verificou-se a percepção e a atitude dos professores, por meio do questionário elaborado pelos autores. Os dados qualitativos foram analisados através da Análise de Conteúdo proposta por Bardin e os quantitativos por meio dos testes estatísticos para estudar a correlação entre as variáveis, pelo programa SPSS Statistics 20. Num total de 382 alunos, 62% são meninas; 46,3% relataram que nunca havia praticado bullying; 3,7% afirmaram que sempre cometiam bullying; 25,4% relataram que às vezes provocavam os colegas; 21,2% alegaram serem vítimas das intimidações dos colegas; 11,3% disseram possuir uma qualidade de vida que não é nem ruim... / Abstract: The most serious cases of bullying begin with teasing and name-calling. Sometimes these aggressions are free and seemingly innocent and often routine among students who, for the most part, do not identify as harmful to relationships, let alone as a source of situations of violence. This study aimed to verify the occurrence of bullying and the correlation with quality of life among adolescents elementary school II as well as the perception of teachers regarding this topic. The study followed the prevailing ethical dictates. It is cross-sectional, observational, descriptive and analytical study. They were visited all institutions of elementary school (n = 22) of a medium-sized municipality of São Paulo, Brazil, and invited all students and teachers, whose developments were divided into two chapters. The first chapter verified the occurrence of bullying through Victimization Scale and Aggression Peer (EVAP), the quality of life of the student, through the WHOQOL-Bref. In the second chapter was with teachers to verify the perception and attitude of teachers with questionnaire prepared by the authors. Qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis proposed by Bardin and quantitative through statistical tests to study the correlation between the variables, using the SPSS Statistics 20 software.
