As interações com um bebê avaliado como mais difícil podem ser menos prazerosas e os que nasceram prematuros podem responder de forma diferente aos estímulos do ambiente, requerendo mais cuidado dos pais. Este trabalho investigou a influência do temperamento e da prematuridade nas interações mãe-bebê no início da vida e organiza-se em três estudos. O primeiro estudo identificou a percepção materna do temperamento de bebês de três a seis meses associando-a a variáveis do bebê, maternas e familiares. Foram observadas correlações positivas entre a idade gestacional, o peso ao nascer e a percepção materna de temperamento difícil do bebê. O segundo estudo investigou os comportamentos interativos do bebê (orientação social positiva, expressão negativa e regulação) e maternos (orientação social positiva e expressão negativa) emitidos durante os episódios do Face-to-Face Still-Face (FFSF), considerando dois grupos: o de bebês prematuros (Grupo PT) e os nascidos a termo (Grupo AT). O FFSF refere-se a um procedimento de filmagem e divide-se em três episódios de três minutos cada. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Literature has pointed out infant temperament and prematurity as variables that may influence interactions established between the infant and the mother. Interactions with an infant assessed as more difficult may be less pleasurable, and preterm infants may respond differently to the environmental stimuli, requiring more care of their parents. This study investigated the influence of temperament and prematurity on mother-infant interactions in early life. It is organized into three studies. The first study identified the mother's perception of the temperament of three to six-month-old babies associated it to infant, maternal and family variables. Positive correlations were observed among gestational age, birth weight and mother perception of the infant difficult temperament. The second study investigated the interactive behavior of the infant (positive social orientation, negative expression and regulation) and of the mother (positive social orientation and negative expression) emitted during episodes of Face-to-Face Syill-Face (FFSF) considering two groups: premature infants (PM group) and term birth infants (TB group). FFSF is a video recording procedure divided into three episodes of three minutes long each. In episodes one and three, the mother was oriented to interact with her infant as usual; in episode two, she should stop interacting, keep eye contact, but do not respond to the child. Analysis was performed considering total sample and comparing the two groups.
