Orientador: Vitor Engrácia Valenti / Resumo: Introdução: As respostas evocadas auditivas são métodos objetivos utilizados para avaliar a atividade neuroelétrica na via auditiva (do nervo auditivo até córtex cerebral) em resposta a um estímulo acústico. Estas são medidas eletrofisiológicas, geradas pelo sincronismo das estruturas da via auditiva, iniciando no nervo auditivo até o tronco encefálico. A variabilidade da frequência cardíaca é um método não invasivo utilizado para analisar o sistema nervoso autônomo, reconhecida pela literatura que analisa a regulação cardíaca autonômica. Sabendo que o sistema nervoso autônomo e o processamento auditivo são regulados pelo sistema nervoso central, poucos estudos investigam a relação entre estímulos auditivos e a modulação autonômica, haja vista que até o momento não foram encontrados estudos tem que o relacionem respostas evocadas auditivas com a regulação neural do sistema nervoso autônomo. Em vista disso, levanta-se a hipótese de que estas respostas eletrofisiológicas possam estar relacionadas com o sistema nervoso autônomo. Objetivo: Verificar se existe associação entre respostas evocadas auditivas e a regulação neural do sistema nervoso autônomo em mulheres saudáveis. Métodos: O estudo foi realizado em 46 indivíduos saudáveis do sexo feminino, com idades entre 18 e 30 anos. These are electrophysiological measures, generated by the synchronism of the structures of the auditory pathway, starting in the auditory nerve up to the brainstem. Heart rate variability is a noninvasive method used to analyze the autonomic nervous system, recognized by the literature that analyzes autonomic cardiac regulation.
