Orientador: Nanci Soares / Banca: Salvea de Oliveira Campelo e Paiva / Banca: Marta Regina Farinelli / Resumo: O estudo ora apresentado tem como objetivo geral analisar a percepção da pessoa idosa sobre a valorização social através dos significados das memórias advindas da experiência de vida, diante do Serviço de Convivência e Fortalecimento de Vínculos (SCFV) e da família. O estudo procurou discutir acerca da importância das memórias e experiências de vida da população idosa, e de como podem contribuir para valorização social desse grupo etário e ainda para a intergeracionalidade, o que ocasionaria também um fortalecimento de vínculos tanto à nível familiar, quanto comunitário, conforme prevê Política Nacional de Assistência Social (PNAS) na sua proteção social básica. O método escolhido foi o materialismo histórico dialético de Karl Marx. O caminho metodológico foi pesquisa bibliográfica, documental e campo. Realizamos uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, utilizamos a entrevista semiestruturada. Os dados apreendidos foram desvendados através do método "análise de conteúdo". A pesquisa foi aprovada pelo Comitê de Ética e Pesquisa da Faculdade de Ciências Humanas e Sociais da UNESP. Os resultados desta investigação indicam aspectos contraditórios na percepção dos sujeitos participantes, no que que se refere a valorização das memórias e experiências de vida da pessoa idosa, que em alguns momentos são valorizadas e em outros são desvalorizadas e até mesmo despercebidas, pois são relações sociais estabelecidas numa sociedade cap... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: The purpose of this study is to analyze the elderly person's perception of social value through the meanings of the memories of the life experience, before the Service of Coexistence and Strengthening of Links (SCFV) and the family. The study sought to discuss the importance of the memories and life experiences of the elderly population and how they can contribute to the social valorization of this age group and also to intergenerationality, which would also lead to a strengthening of ties both at the family and community level, According to National Social Assistance Policy (PNAS) in its basic social protection. The method chosen was the dialectical historical materialism of Karl Marx. The methodological approach was bibliographical, documentary and field research. We performed a qualitative research, we used the semi-structured interview. The seized data were unveiled using the "content analysis" method. The research was approved by the Ethics and Research Committee of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of UNESP. The results of this investigation indicate contradictory aspects in the perception of the subjects involved, in what refers to the valorization of the memories and life experiences of the elderly person, who in some moments are valued and in others are devalued and even unnoticed, since they are social relations Established in a capitalist society, and such relations follow this logic. Thus, we can infer that for the realization of the social valorization of this age segment, as addressed in this work, it is necessary to fight for a more just society, because within the sociability of capital there is no way to fully emancipate human and policy. Regarding the Lions Sobral SCF, activities are developed that stimulate memory in an active aging perspective, focusing on self-care to avoid losses and dependencies.
