Deve-se, portanto, realizar o monitoramento da efetividade de planos, de programas e de projetos do setor educacional para permitir o aprimoramento das práticas educacionais e a elevação dos níveis de qualidade do ensino, de maneira que o uso dos recursos investidos no setor possa proporcionar o alcance de melhores resultados. O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar se o ingresso de professores no Programa de Formação de Professores da Educação Básica (PARFOR) no Centro Universitário de Votuporanga (UNIFEV), no período compreendido entre os anos de 2009 e 2016, influenciou os resultados do Índice de Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica (IDEB) obtidos no município. O presente estudo de pesquisa documental foi elaborado em bases teóricas e normativas e fundamentado em informações publicadas pelos órgãos oficiais, como a Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES), o Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (INEP) - especificamente o IDEB, os dados obtidos junto à Secretaria da Educação de Votuporanga e os documentos e as experiências feitas com o programa na UNIFEV, conveniado ao PARFOR. It is therefore necessary to monitor the effectiveness of plans, programs and projects in the education field to enable the improvement of educational practices and raise the quality of teaching, so that the use of resources invested in the sector can achieve better results. The aim of this study was to analyze whether the admission of teachers in the Basic Education Teacher Training Program (PARFOR) in the Centro Universitário de Votuporanga (UNIFEV), in the period between 2009 and 2016, influenced the results of the Development Index of Basic Education (IDEB) obtained in the county. This documental study was elaborated on theoretical and normative bases and based on information published by official bodies such as the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) and the National Institute of Studies and Educational Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP) specifically the Education Development Index (IDEB), the data obtained from the Votuporanga Department of Education, and the documents and experiences made with the program at UNIFEV, which was agreed to PARFOR. Noticed the volume of teacher training offered and of teachers who attended PARFOR at UNIFEV in the period from 2009 to 2016, the results of the training were analyzed, assessing though available documents and educational indicators if improvements in basic education are perceptible and verifiable. Data on the number of students entering the PARFOR Pedagogy course (1st. Graduation) at UNIFEV were analyzed, with a view to assessing the initial demand for teachers in need of higher education in the county of Votuporanga.
