Orientador: Amadeu Moura Bego / Banca: Tathiane Milaré / Banca: Luiz Antonio Andrade de Oliveira / Resumo: Este texto apresenta a pesquisa de mestrado desenvolvida no âmbito do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Química da Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho", campus de Araraquara (PPG/IQ-CAr), vinculado ao Grupo de Pesquisa em Educação Química do IQ. O presente trabalho de pesquisa aborda como os cursinhos populares da Unesp se organizam pedagógica e administrativamente, bem como aponta suas principais aproximações e afastamentos. Para a condução da investigação, definiu-se como problema de pesquisa a questão: quais as aproximações e afastamentos entre as características dos diversos cursinhos da Unesp no tocante aos conceitos de Ação Afirmativa e Extensão Universitária? A fim de viabilizar a resposta desse grande problema de pesquisa, bem como operacionalizar o processo de coleta e tratamento de dados, as seguintes questões de pesquisa foram definidas: qual a quantidade e quais as características dos cursinhos da Unesp no tocante à localização, à infraestrutura, à equipe de trabalho e estrutura administrativa e aos modos e horários de funcionamento? Quais as características dos cursinhos da Unesp no tocante ao histórico, aos objetivos pedagógicos e à estrutura pedagógica? Quais as características do público-alvo e como vêm sendo feitas as contagens de aprovação e de evasão dos cursinhos da Unesp nos últimos anos? Quais as relações entre os objetivos institucionais definidos para os cursinhos e as práticas hegemônicas desenvolvidas nas diversas unidades da Unesp? Pa... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: This text presents the master's research developed in the scope of the Programa de Pós-Graduação em Química of Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho", campus de Araraquara (PPG/IQ-CAr), linked to the Grupo de Pesquisa em Educação Química do IQ. The present research deals with how the Unesp's pre- university preparatory courses are organized pedagogically and administratively, as well as points out their main approaches and departures. In order to conduct the research, the research problem was defined as: what are the approximations and deviations between the characteristics of the various Unesp's pre-university preparatory courses regarding the concepts of Affirmative Action and University Extension?
