Orientador: Eduardo Martins Morgado / Resumo: A inclusão digital na terceira idade é compreendida como uma forma de integrar as pessoas longevas com as novas tecnologias de entretenimento e comunicação. Porém esse processo engloba aspectos da relação humana que vão além da transferência de conhecimentos e habilidades. Este trabalho analisa o projeto de inclusão digital na terceira idade da Fatec Garça e como ele contribui para a pessoa idosa sentir-se ativa e atualizada, vivenciando as situações do estilo de vida atual de forma integrada e participativa, elevando sua autoestima e melhorando sua qualidade de vida. Além de apresentar abordagens de estudiosos da educação dos últimos anos a fim de refletir sobre a importância da inclusão digital aplicadas a terceira idade, discutir os desafios do professor para o perfil da terceira idade, bem como a importância da motivação, afetividade e integração com o meio acadêmico. Os métodos utilizados para embasar este estudo foi a pesquisa bibliográfica, a análise da literatura acadêmica abrangendo a importância do conhecimento do perfil desse aluno, bem como as práticas pedagógicas e as metodologias diferenciadas atuais aplicadas para estreitar a relação do instrutor com o aluno. But this process encompasses aspects of the human relationship that go beyond the transfer of knowledge and skills. This work analyzes Fatec Garça's digital inclusion project and how it contributes to the elderly feeling active and up to date, living the current lifestyle situations in an integrated and participatory way, raising their self-esteem and improving their quality of life. In addition to presenting approaches of educational scholars of recent years to reflect on the importance of digital inclusion applied to the elderly, to discuss the challenges of the teacher for the profile of the elderly, as well as the importance of motivation, affectivity and integration with the academia. The methods used to support this study were the bibliographical research, the analysis of the academic literature covering the importance of the knowledge of the profile of this student, as well as the pedagogical practices and the current differentiated methodologies applied to narrow the relation of the instructor with the student.
