<p>Syfte och frågeställningar</p><p>Syftet med studien var att undersöka olika alternativ till organisation av futsal i Sverige inom och utanför Riksidrottsförbundet (RF). Jag har använt mig av följande frågeställningar: Hur organiseras futsal internationellt? Vilka alternativ finns till organisation av futsal inom RF och vilka för- och nackdelar har dessa? Vilka alternativ finns till organisation av futsal utanför RF och vilka för- och nackdelar har dessa? Hur ser organisationen av futsal ut i Norden? Hur har andra nyligen etablerade idrotter organiserats i Sverige och varför?</p><p>Metod</p><p>Studien bygger på åtta kvalitativa intervjuer med personer som representerar skilda idrottsorganisationer med betydelse för organiserandet av futsal. Intervjuerna är genomförda med en hög grad av strukturering och en låg grad av standardisering.</p><p>Resultat</p><p>Den internationella situationen med två skilda organisationer för futsal påverkar de nationella organisationsalternativen. Det alternativ som är aktuellt i dagens läge inom RF är inträde i Svenska fotbollförbundet (SvFF). En fördel med detta är att futsal blir en del av en etablerad organisation, en nackdel är den begränsade beslutsrätten. Utanför RF finns det renodlade kommersiella organisationer som saknar den auktorisation som finns inom RF; de har till sin fördel att de endast arbetar med futsal och inte fotboll. Innebandy och ringette har valt olika vägar till organisation inom RF beroende på olika förutsättningar. I Finland organiseras futsal under Finska fotbollförbundet. Norges fotbollförbund har ännu inte tagit beslut om organisering av futsal och idag driver den kommersiella organisationen Indoor Football Scandinavia (IFS) futsal i landet.</p><p>Slutsats</p><p>Det finns konkurrens om futsal både på internationell och på nationell nivå. En ny och enad internationell organisation skulle kunna förena fokusering på futsal med administrativa kunskaper. Det positiva i dagens situation är att futsal fortsätter att spridas över världen. Men organisatoriskt är futsal ett dilemma eftersom ingen av de två nuvarande internationella organisationerna är optimala.</p> / <p>Aim</p><p>The aim of this study was to examine different alternatives for organization of futsal in Sweden within and outside The Swedish Sports Confederation (RF). I have used the following questions: How is futsal organized internationally? Which alternatives for organization are there within RF and what are the advantages and disadvantages of these alternatives? Which alternatives for organization are there outside RF and what are the advantages and disadvantages of these alternatives? How is futsal organized in Scandinavia? How has other newly established sports been organized in Sweden and why?</p><p>Method</p><p>The study is based on eight qualitative interviews with persons representing separate sport organizations with importance for the organization of futsal. The interviews is done with a similar structure but is standardized to a low extent.</p><p>Results</p><p>The international situation with two separate organizations for futsal has influence on the alternatives for organization on the national level. The going alternative today within RF is entrance in the Swedish Football Association (SvFF). One advantage with this is that futsal becomes a member of an established organization, a disadvantage is the limited right to make own decisions. Outside RF there are commercial organizations that lack the authorization of RF, the advantage is that these organizations only work with futsal and not football. Floorball and ringette has been choosing different alternatives for organization within RF because of their different conditions. In Finland futsal is organized within the Football Association of Finland. Any decision about futsal has not been taken by the Norwegian Football Association and the commercial organization Indoor Football Scandinavia (IFS) is running futsal today.</p><p>Conclusions</p><p>There is competition about futsal both on the international and the national level. A new and united international organization should combine the focus on futsal with administrative knowledge. Futsal continues to spread all over the world. But from an organizational view futsal is a dilemma because none of the two existing international organizations are optimal</p>
