<p>This report is about creating a web-shop and marketing a web-bicycle. The basic idea of the web-bicycle is that it should be possible to connect the web-bicycle to the internet and register the exercise activity of the user in a database. Based on the registered information the user gets feedback from the experts to improve his/her health.</p><p>Our commission in this project is to design a web-shop and a database for marketing the web-bicycle. The visitor of the web-shop should be able to get information about the web-bicycle, register him/herself, log in and send a reservation.</p><p>The purpose of our thesis is to develop our knowledge and skills in creating an appealing, user friendly, dynamic website with connection to a database. This report contains scientific information about several web-related programming languages and technologies such as HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, VB.NET, JAVASCRIPT and AJAX. There is also information about the software that we used in our work, namely Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition, Adobe Photoshop CS and Microsoft Access.</p>
