<p>Syftet med uppsatsen är att få kunskap om anestesisjuksköterskans upplevelse i medverkandet av arbetet vid hjärtstoppslarm. Studien har en deskriptiv explorativ design med kvalitativ ansats. Intervjuerna blev nio varav tre informanter var män och sex kvinnor, yrkeserfarenheten var från nio månader till 20 år. Bearbetning av transkriberat material gjordes genom innehållsanalys. I resultatet framkom fem kategorier och 24 underkategorier. Kategorierna beskriver tankar och reaktioner innan larmet, arbetet vid hjärtstopp, inskolning och fortbildning, reflektioner och tankar kring liv och död samt organisation. Konklusionen av arbetet är följande: informanterna beskriver att klar struktur behövs i dessa situationer och att en bra ledning är viktigt för ett välfungerande teamarbete. Hjärtstoppsteam räddar liv i nödsituationer och det är nödvändigt att det finns möjlighet till reflektion och delgivning av erfarenheter för att vidareutveckla arbetet.<strong> </strong></p> / <p>The purpose of this study is to gain insight into the nurse anesthesia experience of involving the work of the cardiac arrest emergency. The study has a descriptive exploratory design with a qualitative approach. The interviews were nine; three informants were men and six women. Professional experience was from nine months to 20 years. Processing of the transcribed material was done by content analysis. The results revealed five categories and 24 subcategories, categories describing thoughts and reactions before the alarm, the work of the cardiac arrest, training and acclimatization, reflections and thoughts about life and death and the organization. The conclusion of this work is as follows; informants describe the complete structure is needed in these situations and that good management is important for a good teamwork. Cardiac arrest team saves lives in emergencies and it is essential that there is an opportunity for reflection and sharing of experiences to further develop the work.</p>
