Mobile devices are used more and more to simplify and streamline already existing web services. Many large corporations’ web services e.g. Facebook and Google have created mobile apps that give users a better and more accessible experience than before. App development is becoming more popular as the development software gets more support for different programming languages and techniques that make it easier for the developer to create apps for different operating systems. The app that’s been developed for the employer is an energy management app which shows a user’s energy usage for a given time period. The app also shows energy usage in various diagrams and can create reports.
