Genom att skapa minnen kopplade till ting får vi människor en känslomässig anknytning till dem. Många har i sina hem arvegods som använts genom flera generationer och som fortfarande fyller en funktion i vardagen. Målet med mitt projekt är att skapa en filt som ägaren kan använda genom hela livet och sedan kunna lämna vidare till nästa generation. Genom materialval ska filten tillåta användning samtidigt som den är tålig nog att användas genom flera generationer. / By creating memories connected to things, we create an emotional bond to them. Many people have heirlooms in their homes used by several generations that still plays a role in their everyday life. The goal of my project is to create a blanket that the owner can use throughout their entire lifes and then be able to pass on to the next generation. The material should allow the blanket to be used while being durable enough to be used by several generations to come.
