Syftet med min studie var att skaffa mig en bild av om de visioner och idéer Utbildnings- och KulturNämnden (UKN) har om arbetslag stämmer överens med rektorers och arbetslagens uppfattningar.Genom personliga intervjuer med UKN och kommunens rektorer har jag tagit del av deras uppfattning. Arbetslagens åsikter har jag samlat in genom individuella frivilliga enkäter.Min undersökning pekar på att UKN:s visioner och idéer om arbetslagen delas av rektorer och arbetslag. Däremot finns det olika åsikter om hur arbetslagen skall organiseras. UKN siktar mot ett F – 9 perspektiv, dock så finns det arbetslag i kommunen som hellre skulle vilja arbeta i årskursbaserade arbetslag.Nyckelord: arbetslag, horisontella arbetslag, vertikala arbetslag, / The intention of my study, was to gather a view whether or not the visions and ideas that the “Utbildnings – och KulturNämnden (UKN)” possesses about work teams in school correspond to those of the respective principals as well as of the actual work teams.By personal interviews with the UKN and with the headmasters of the schools belonging to the municipality in question, I have taken part of their opinions and standpoints. Those of the work teams have been gathered by individual and voluntary surveys in paper format.My study indicates that the visions and ideas which the UKN has concerning work teams, are shared by principals and the work teams. However, there are different views and opinions on how a work team should be structured and organized. The UKN favours a F – 9 alternative, yet there are work teams which rather would have preferred to teach in a year driven team.Key words:work team, horizontal work team, vertical work team
